At 17 he left his home and city to be a missionary.

His life has been threatened by machete wielding men for bringing the gospel to their village; his clothes have been covered with the blood of a man dying from a gunshot wound as he cradled the man's head in his lap witnessing to him all the way to the hospital, and besides his courage and dedication, he's a gifted communicator and evangelist who speaks to an average of 17,000 students, teachers and parents per month about how to put biblical values into practice in their lives. Oh, and he's only 24 years old.

Jorge writes a monthly column in his exhortational style and is a valuable ministry partner, whether it's working together at conferences or sending him to fill some of the many requests we receive to speak to youth.

My wife, Zuraya, Tim and Me

It´s a pleasure to write you all about what Jesus did in my life and way I start to Serve in the ministry.

l grow up in Toluca, the city where l born, it has a weather very cold, of course it´s cold for México, when l was one year old my Father left home, that was very hard for me because l always was missing the presence of a father, When l was twelve years old, a friend of my Mom made us a invitation to go to a place where the people was learning about the bible and Jesus´love , so that day was the more wonderful day l ever had because Y got the love of Jesus.

Now l work in the buisness of my havenly father , the ministry l´m working is giving chats in Universities, High sochools and conferences. Every day l have the oportunity to be talking about the truth from the hearth of God with so many kids, and l´m working at two radio´s pragrams, Now l got invitatiosn from politics and buissnes people to have consuling

So l thank God for Guilick´s lives, they are a such a blessing for my wife and me, l ask you all for your prayers for their lives, l ask you for prayers for my wife, for the ministry and for me.

9/26/00 - that God would give me opportunities and the winsomeness to share the truth of the Gospel in an effective way, especially those in positions of power and influence since their is very little evangelical influence in these circles

9/26/00 - for Zuraya, my wife of 5 months, that God would help us continue to bond as a couple and help me put her as a priority

9/26/00 - that of all the options I have before me for ministry, God would guide me as to which I should say "yes" to and which, "no"

9/26/00 - a few faithful Christian friends

9/26/00 - I give "values" seminars for the most part in secular settings and the values I talk about are straight from scripture... this has created a lot of antagonism towards me from those who are against our faith. Please pray that God would help me be faithful and that He would take win over or take away these attackers
