A web programmer from the projects. He's a motivated, go-getter who can teach himself just about any computer program or programming language. Besides winning a full scholarship to the best private high school in the city, Daniel leads a small group bible study in his home and is a leader in his church youth group. His father lost both legs to diabetes and when Daniel isn't programming for us, he's transporting his father to and from work and other appointments as well as driving the family taxi during the night shift. Daniel was the first to work with us on the web site and his role will be changing significantly (into what we're not quite sure) as the site becomes "data base driven" instead of him having to create each page individually.

that's tim and me

On the 20th of July 1981 I was born in the city of Toluca, in the state of Mexico. I live with my younger brother and my parents. I finished high school with honors and competed successfully in the area of computing. I've worked with Tim & Annette and the web team since May '99. My job is designing, programming, and maintaining the web pages and multimedia elements on the web site.

I hope to graduate from the university with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering and grow in my spiritual life in Christ. Thank you for your prayers (see requests below) and feel free to write me.

• (9/26/00) Healing or at least improvement for my back problem. I hurt it over a year ago at a youth congress, and it still causes me significant pain.
  
  
• (9/25/00) For the difficulties that my family is living with right now. Specific prayer requests are:
  • a - our economic situation... we are presently experiencing the toughest challenges of lives, although we know that we need to trust in God and not the money
  • b - mi father is diabetic and lost both his legs a few years ago. He gone without medical attention now for some time because the government medical program (ISSEMYM) that covered his $830 dollar/month medical costs has not been doing their part.
  • c - both my mother and paternal grandfather have also had health problems/surgeries which have weakened their morale and spiritual vitality.
  • d - personally, for the first time in my life, I failed not just one class but an entire semester. This has really affected me and my family
    
    
• (9/25/00) For the weekly small group Bible study that meets in our home... many of us have been passing through difficult struggles and temptations at the hand of Satan (but, I want to thank God that lately things are more stable)
