2001 was the
toughest year either Annette or I have experienced. Their were
lot's of delays, cancellations and even some tough interpersonal
junk. But amazingly - and thanks only to God's knack for
using tired and broken vessels like us - some truly good things
came out of last year. And since you invest in our work - caring
about us, praying for us, and giving to us - you share ownership
in any results that God has produced through our ministry. For
the last 6 years we've written to you about what we've experienced
"on the field" in Mexico; however, this report is different...
it is an attempt to give you an overview of what was accomplished
during 2001. The format is kind of tongue in cheek - trying
to look like we are a real stock or something (you invest
in us... get it?) So, here's the bottom line for 2001:

As the Polish proverb goes, "God doesn't pay weekly wages...
but when He does pay, He pays well". We believe that
ministry normally pays dividends eternally, and it is impossible
to measure the true impact of our lives and work. But since our
organization requires that we set both long and short term goals
and objectives, there are some annual dividends that we
